Introduction and Video Shoot

Congratulations, you found us. Welcome to the new VicarBlood.com! This will be the home for all things Vicar Blood.

Let’s start by introducing ourselves. We are Vicar Blood, a modern death metal band from the Cleveland, OH area. Formed in 2025, Vicar Blood started as an idea from the minds of Vieda Boss (vocals) and Dan Gates (guitar). Immediately realizing their potential as a team, Dan and Vieda released four singles over a few months. With the goal of expanding and quickly developing Vicar Blood into a live experience, Dan and Vieda quickly grew their partnership into a full production, adding Will Bolduc (guitar), Steve Fernandez (bass), and Luis Ortunio (drums) to the lineup.

We shot a performance video for our soon-to-be-released new single yesterday (refer to it as Song 5 for now). Filmmaker and editor Thomas Stumpf took the lead on this visual endeavor and we could not be more excited for you to see the final results.
